I began getting ideas for my partner’s Christmas presents a month or so ago and have really enjoyed shopping for him this year. Below are some of the things I have or would buy for my partner. I hope that this list can help you and inspire you to shop for the men in your life…
For any bearded fellas out there I can recommend the L’Oreal Expert Barber Beard Face Wash for £9.99 or you can buy it as a set for £25. I say I can recommend it, what I mean is my partner loves it – not that I use it on my own beard.
A scent that means something. Back when my partner and I first started dating he was still trying to impress me and so he would cover himself in this fragrance. To this day it reminds me of our first few dates and the butterflies that I felt meeting him. Christmas is the perfect excuse to buy any men in your life some new smellies, whether that be one that holds memories or just simply one that you like the smell of.
The other day my partner asked me to tell anyone who asks that he would like a scarf for Christmas. Little does he know I am one step ahead of him and have already allocated a scarf giver! If I were buying him one then this Barbour scarf and gloves giftset £49.95 would have been the one I would have chosen.
Last Christmas I bought my partner this Personalised Card Holder. For £29.95 this is the perfect present for most budgets. I had ‘I love you’ engraved on the bottom right of the card holder. The engraving is not as visible on his as the picture above shows but is still visible. My partner was very happy with the gift and continues to use the card holder.
We don’t have much carpet in my house so these Slippers are the perfect present for these cold winter days. My one year old cousin is often round too and her current obsession is to ram into your feet with her baby walker, so these provide some protection! These particular slippers are a little pricey at £60 but there are many cheaper options out there.
My partner is a huge football fan – Tottenham being his team. Every Christmas I include some stocking fillers that are Spurs related. This year I have combined his love of football with his love of golf, here are my picks for this year. If the men in your life support any sports team then their merchandise make for excellent stocking fillers.
A new golf towel as his current one is disgusting, I’m not sure washing it would do anything. For £16 I thought this was the nicest one available.
Pack of three Spurs golf balls – these are more for decoration than to actually play with. He definitely won’t allow me to play with them as we definitely would not be coming home with three. These were £10.00.
A Spurs ball marker – this is only £3.00 so really s perfect for a stocking filler present.
Some Spurs wooden golf tees. These are only £4.00 from Amazon.
My partner’s main present is a new golf bag. I chose this one from Titleist mostly because I liked the look of it and saw a few people on the golf course with one! With my limited golf knowledge I am happy with the choice I made. This particular one on their website is £165 but if you shop around you can find it much cheaper.
My partner loves his trainers in the same way that I love my handbags, however this is the present that I am the most nervous about. These trainers are the ones I chose, they’re not like his normal ones, however they are similar to a Nike pair that he liked earlier in the year. I am hopeful that I have chosen well and he will like them. These particular ones are currently £44 (I’m not sure if this is a discounted black friday deal) and are selling out pretty quickly.
I currently have presents hidden all over the place! I had to use my little cousin’s paint pots to paint over the logo on the box that the golf bag came in just in case he sees it. I feel like I’m going crazy trying to remember everywhere that I’ve got a present hidden. I am hopeful that I will be able to start wrapping some of it soon! I also intend to do a post about how I am wrapping my presents this year so keep an eye out. I hope you got a few ideas for the men in your life from this post.
