I love reading other people’s blog posts as to what they’ve been enjoying the past month and so I wanted to do my own again this month! You can find my January one here. There’s nothing brand new here but I still wanted to share it with you!
I’m a terror for using mouthwash, I either can’t be bothered or I just plain forget. I thought I’d try this whitening mouth wash to encourage myself to use it. It’s definitely worked, I’ve noticed a difference in the whiteness of my teeth, which in turn is making me want to use the mouthwash.
Definitely would recommend trying it out if you need a push to use mouthwash!
I’ve been buying travel sized mascaras for years now, mostly because I get bored easily and never make it through a full sized one. For Christmas I was given a full sized Better Than Sex mascara. I love it, however the brush is huge! I have quite small eyes and so the big brushes tend to just spread mascara around my face, rather than my lashes. It made me realise just how much I adore my travel sized counterparts and will continue to purchase them.
I’ve been a vegetarian for almost 15 years now and so I’ve gone a very long time without having a marshmallow. The other week my uncle sent me a picture of these and said he would get me some to try. They’re pretty much free from everything – apart from sugar haha. I ate the whole pack in a day and have just been out to buy some more. They’re delicious!
Being British you will rarely hear one of us saying that we’re loving the weather – it’s either too hot or too cold. However, we’re experiencing somewhat of a heat wave in February. We have blue skies, sunshine and a balmy 20 degree Celsius. It’s such an unexpected treat and has lifted everyone’s mood. It’s nice to have a break from the dreary British winter, although I suspect it’s not over yet.
I use to love my MAC lipsticks but for some reason I stopped using them. I was having a tidy of my room a few weeks ago and came across them all. I’ve been making an effort to wear them more often. My favourite one is Spirit and now all my mugs are covered in it! Definitely worth it though.
This is the best picture I have of me wearing Spirit. It’s a gorgeous brown with a hint of pink to it. Reds appear pink with my skin tone so I tend to stick to brown based lipsticks. Does anyone else have this problem?
I recently got rid of my Nespresso coffee machine because I didn’t really use it and the pods are so bad for the environment. Thankfully, my anxiety is in a place where I can treat myself to the occasional coffee. Of an afternoon instead of having a snack I’ll often treat myself to a cafetiere coffee. I also add a sneaky shot of caramel syrup to my coffee to give it a sweet kick. My favourite coffee out is a soya caramel latte, however in the interest of saving money I’ve cut them out and instead make them at home. They’re just as tasty and I’m saving a fortune!
What have you been enjoying during February?
