If you haven’t been following my blog from the begining then you may not have seen some of my firsts posts discussing my mental health. When I first started blogging my anxiety was severe and I was also suffering with depression. I thought today I would share with you some of my original posts so that you can go back and read them. Many of them are quite emotional for me to read back as they bring back memories of how terrible I was feeling.

Running Away from my life

My first post discussing how I was feeling was called ‘Running away from my life‘. It began with a rant about how difficult I was finding eating gluten free and being vegetarian. I then went on to discuss how difficult I was finding life after a rubbish 2018 – you can read it here

Mental Health (Anxiety and Emetophobia)

On the 5th December I post my first post solely focused on my mental health. It was titled Mental Health (Anxiety and Emetophobia). This post features a brief explanation as to what Emetophobia is and how it has affected my life. It’s also the first time that I spoke about how I caught norovirus and the impact it had on me.

How I cope with my Anxiety

My third mental health related blog post was somewhat of a post to help others cope with anxiety. I detailed the techniques I use to cope, I wrote about my future plans and also discussed my safeguards.

Mental Health at Christmas (Anxiety and Emetophobia)

My forth post was discussing mental heath at christmas. I had a particularly bad Christmas day after having one of the most severe panic attacks I’ve ever experienced. I wrote about how much I had been struggling over the Christmas period and the pressure the festive period puts on your mental health. There’s still a stigma around mental health during the festive period and I wanted to open the floor up for a discussion on it.

Anxiety Update (Sleeping and Panic Attacks)

Mid-January I posted an update on my mental health about my sleeping and panic attacks. I remember this period where I was really struggling to sleep and my mind would race with horrible thoughts and memories. Sometimes I would have to go out in the early hours of the morning for a drive to distract myself from my own mind. It was a really difficult time for me and I was also struggling with my depression, although I didn’t really talk about it on my blog. You can read it here.
